Alor Gelar ‘Lomba Terbang’ dengan Kekuatan Metafisika

Pemerintah Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) berencana menggelar lomba “terbang” dengan menggunakan kekuatan metafisika di Kabupaten Alor pada Agustus 2019.

“Lomba ‘terbang’ ini rencananya akan digelar bersamaan dengan kegiatan tahunan Expo Alor 2019,” kata Kepala Bidang Pemasaran dan Perencanaan Dinas Pariwisata NTT Eden Kalakik kepada Antara di Kupang, Selasa (20/3/2018).

Menurut dia, gagasan untuk menggelar lomba “terbang” ini muncul setelah melihat sejumlah fakta yang terjadi di wilayah yang berjulukan Pulau Kenari itu dalam beberapa tahun terakhir.

“Dari pada hampir setiap Minggu ada manusia terbang yang jatuh karena tabrak tower dan tabrak gedung, lebih baik kita gelar lomba supaya bisa mendatangkan manfaat untuk masyarakat daerah,” kata Eden Klakik.

Eden Klakik yang juga berasal dari Alor ini mengisahkan, pada September 2017, salah seorang yang baru pulang mengikuti pertemuan suanggi sedunia di Vietnam jatuh di belakang Kantor Bupati Alor karena menabrak tower Telkomsel.

“Dan saya berpikir, lebih baik kita mengkoordinir mereka semua dalam satu wadah dan kita bisa buatkan event tahunan di Alor,” katanya menjelaskan.

Bahkan kalau perlu, kata dia, setiap destinasi wisata ditempatkan satu atau dua orang, dan ini akan menjadi daya tarik tersendiri karena ada wisata khusus yang tidak ada di dunia.

Mengenai adanya reaksi, dia mengatakan, gagasan ini memang menimbulkan pro kontra dari berbagai kalangan, tetapi pihaknya sedang berupaya membangun komunikasi dengan para pihak terkait, termasuk di antaranya gereja.

“Kita juga sedang mempertimbangkan untuk menggelar seminar atau dialog khusus untuk membahas masalah ini dengan melibatkan tokoh agama, masyarakat dan akademisi,” katanya.

Dia berharap, semua pihak dapat memahami niat baik pemerintah ini dan mendukung upaya pemerintah dalam memberdayakan orang-orang yang memiliki kemampuan metafisika di provinsi berbasis kepulauan itu.
